Cleaner
Kingdom Kare is looking for reliable, kind, and trustworthy Cleaners / Domestic Support Workers to support people in their own homes. This role involves helping individuals maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment while treating each person’s home, privacy, and belongings with respect.
The role may include general cleaning, laundry, changing bedding, washing dishes, light household tasks, and helping keep key areas of the home safe and tidy. Domestic support can make a big difference to someone’s wellbeing, confidence, and ability to remain independent at home.
Key Responsibilities
Domestic Support
Carry out agreed cleaning and household tasks in line with the person’s support plan or service agreement.
Respect & Dignity
Treat each person, their home, and their belongings with care, respect, and confidentiality at all times.
Safety & Infection Prevention
Follow safe working practices, infection prevention guidance, and health and safety procedures when using cleaning products or equipment.
Communication
Communicate politely and professionally with the people we support, families, and the Kingdom Kare team. Report any concerns, risks, damage, changes in wellbeing, or safety issues promptly.
Reliability & Professionalism
Attend visits on time, complete agreed tasks to a good standard, and represent Kingdom Kare in a positive and professional way.
